Monthly, I send a business update to "Susan". For me, this is a wonderful and timely reminder for me. I have time to be in my head, bringing out a full list of the details, the hard work, the exhaustion and the exhilaration that I have been through over the past month. At this point, I'm ready for a couch, a coffee, and a binge worthy night of How to Get Away With Murder. Which, my lovely husband recognized and gave to me last night. Today I wake up, drink my coffee, clean and launder my teenage and toddler filled home and (BIG BREATH) in a quiet house (RARE!!!!!!!) I send my email to Susan.... 6 Paragraphs later, It basically all came down to this............
Wow! I'm so proud of our family venture of HGDesign. I feel excited and energized again. I'm ready to jot ideas and brainstorms into my notebook.... and start checking those boxes off over the coming months. I have some amazing, strong, driven, and creative people at my back pushing me and leading me through all the exhausting days (every one). God is Great and Powerful in our lives. I'm so thankful for this journey.
