I'm adopted. I was 3 months old when my parents adopted me. I had the best upbringing with loving, kind, and hard working parents. I couldn't have asked for more.... then when I was 26, I met my biological family. I will always remember that day... moment by moment. Not only were my grandparents still alive, but I had 3 little brothers. Fast forward 14 years and they all have a very special place in my heart, even though life keeps us busy and we don't see each other nearly as much as I'd like.
I guess you can say I have first hand experience with the nurture vs. nature debate. When it comes to creativity and a thirst for independence, I always thought it had come from my mom... she is fierce... and maybe mine does- but ironically, it also exists in my brothers. As I've finally taken steps to make my dreams a reality, I also wanted to give a shout out to my brother's businesses and their amazing talents. They inspire me to follow my dreams.
